Questions And Answers

Question: So what is PayGo ScreenHog? Is it a separate product?
Answer: PayGo ScreenHog is merely PayGo compiled in a way that allows the PayGo files to run in what is commonly known as "Kiosk" mode. When you launch PayGo ScreenHog, it blacks out everything but PayGo. [See images above] Your users will only see the PayGo screens. No menus, no MySpace, no tender pictures of your cute pets, just PayGo.

Question: Does PayGo ScreenHog require a touch screen?
Answer: No, but a touchscreen is a great thing to use with PayGo ScreenHog. It is common in retail point of sale solutions to not use your computer for anything other than performing sales transactions via a touch screen. PayGo ScreenHog allows PayGo to work in that way.

Question: Does PayGo ScreenHog lock users out of other parts of my computer's operating system?
Answer: Not completely, but it will provide some deterrent to users moving to other applications. It should be understood that PayGo ScreenHog simply hides the desktop from users and you shouldn't consider it a way to lock users out of other areas of your computer.

Question: If I buy PayGo ScreenHog, will it work on all of my PayGo workstations?
Answer: Installing PayGo ScreenHog will initially put all users and workstations into the PayGo ScreenHog mode. If you want certain users to NOT be in the ScreenHog mode, you can recreate your user account as an Admin account, which will allow you to run PayGo in a normal mode when you login.

Question: Does PayGo ScreenHog have posters of himself all over your offices?
Answer: Yes... it's quite obnoxious.

Question: Does PayGo ScreenHog need to be installed on each of my computers?
Answer: No. It only needs to be installed on your Host Computer.

Question: What is needed to run PayGo ScreenHog?
Answer: It is recommended that you use FileMaker Pro 9 to run PayGo ScreenHog. PayGo ScreenHog will work on FileMaker 8.5, but your admin account will NOT be able to allow you to run PayGo in Normal mode. Your sales consultant can help you and explain anything further.
